The design process
Phase 1 | Initial Consultation
Submit your inquiry through our website, and we’ll arrange a complimentary discovery call to discuss your project. We’ll explain our services and determine how Tatem Interiors can help.
Phase 2 | On-Site or Virtual Consultation
After confirming that we’re a good fit, we’ll schedule an in-depth consultation. This meeting allows us to explore your vision, functional needs, and aesthetic preferences, as well as discuss the budget and timeline. Based on this, we’ll provide a proposal outlining the project scope and design fee.
Phase 3 | Design Concept Development
The fun begins! We dive into space planning, mood boards, and inspiration gathering. We’ll refine the design concept, focusing on how your space can best reflect your lifestyle and personal taste.
Phase 4 | Design Plan Creation
We turn the concept into a practical design plan, selecting materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes. If it’s a construction project, we collaborate on selecting flooring, countertops, hardware, and other critical details. You’ll receive a full presentation with drawings, material samples, and renderings.
Phase 5 | Project Management (For Renovations/Construction)
For construction projects, we coordinate with contractors and monitor the progress on-site to ensure everything is installed correctly and follows the design plan.
Phase 6 | Procurement & Logistics
We handle all ordering, tracking, and installation coordination. From furniture to accessories, we manage every detail to ensure your project is delivered seamlessly.
Phase 7 | Installation & Styling
We oversee the installation of furnishings, lighting, art, and decor to bring your vision to life. Every detail is carefully placed to create a polished, picture-perfect space.
Phase 8 | Post-Installation Support
Even after installation, we’re here for any follow-ups or adjustments to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your new space.
