Luxury Miami Beach Condo Renovation | Modern Interior Design Transformation

This full-service luxury condo renovation in South of Fifth, Miami Beach reimagined a challenging floor plan into a cohesive, light-filled residence that fully embraces its sweeping views of the Port of Miami and the downtown skyline.

Our Miami Beach interior design studio was engaged to renovate the condominium in its entirety — including interior architectural reconfiguration, custom millwork design, lighting design, bathroom renovations, and complete furnishing and styling.

The existing layout was defined by numerous angled walls and heavy soffits that fragmented the space and obstructed views. Each room felt visually tight and disconnected, and the irregular geometry made furniture planning both inefficient and limiting. The bathrooms were outdated and disproportionate to the adjoining bedrooms, further contributing to the lack of cohesion.

As a full-service interior designer specializing in Miami Beach condo renovations, our approach began with strategic space planning and architectural refinement. We advised the client that without addressing the underlying interior architecture — particularly the ceiling clutter and disruptive angles — any surface-level upgrade would fall short of creating meaningful impact.

We eliminated angled walls throughout the residence, squared off transitions, and minimized or thoughtfully concealed necessary soffits to create clean architectural lines. By simplifying the geometry, we immediately improved flow, sightlines, and functionality.

A wall that previously truncated views from the kitchen to the city skyline was removed, opening the common areas and establishing a seamless connection between kitchen, dining, and living spaces. The newly designed kitchen now includes integrated counter seating and an adjacent lounging area, transforming it into a central gathering space rather than an isolated room.

In the primary suite, we enlarged the shower by squaring the entry and reconfigured the layout to create a more proportionate and spacious Primary Bath. By strategically reallocating underutilized square footage from the bedroom, we achieved a balanced and highly functional layout. Where closets were removed, we reintroduced storage through custom-designed millwork that maximized efficiency while maintaining a clean aesthetic.

All finishes, custom cabinetry, architectural lighting, plumbing fixtures, and material selections were designed and specified by our studio. Construction coordination and installation oversight were managed directly to ensure precision and fidelity to the design intent.

This South of Fifth condo renovation exemplifies our belief that interior designers are essential partners in both renovation and new construction projects. By engaging early and addressing interior architecture before finishes, we transformed a visually fragmented unit into a refined, cohesive home that feels expansive, functional, and deeply connected to its extraordinary Miami Beach setting.
